Also anybody have any Navy wax / cream recs? Shoes came with a small nick / cut and I want to fill it in
Saphir makes a Navy cream polish, which we carry -- it's my understanding that Saphir developed their polish colors with Carmina, which is why they generally match so precisely. I think that little nick can also be taken out with some renovateur no problem (I use renovateur only on my shoes and I've yet to encounter a nick or scuff it didn't deal with).
Hey guys. Had a quick question about the Lavendar Tattersall Napoli Sportcoat. Ive been looking for a tattersall or gun check style sport coat for a while now and this seems to fit the bill nicely for a summer weight option. My only slight reservation is in relation to the colour. Is it quite pinky, or is it more understated in real life ? Some of the pictures make it look a bit darker and in some its very light. Is the oatmeal tattersall much darker ? Many thanks for any advice ?
I'll second the sound advice you've already gotten. It definitely reads as blue / lavender. Don't get me wrong, it's still a very bold jacket, but I think the boldness comes from the small-scale pattern rather than its color alone. The fabric is awesome -- it's definitely something special that we were lucky to get our mitts on when we did.
