I can answer some of these for you. It is actually kudu but is embossed as well. It's softer and more supple than scotch, inca and hatch calf. Probably has the slightly less water resistance than scotch/Inca but still very weather resistant and it's a bit more brown than the Peabody stuff from a few years back. Here is a comparison pic@Leaves I have a stupid question and some normal questions about the leather. Is it actually from a Kudu or just a grained calfskin?
Regardless of the answer to that question, how does it compare to a normal Scotch or Inca or Hatch grained calfskin (softer, stiffer, more/less weather resistant)?
Is that color the same as the oak kudu G&G used in the past or lighter in color?
I'm curious about a Bonafe loafer (model 645) in the kudu for reference.
