**** people who like to touch, unfold, move, misplace, throw, drop, etc. everything they see and never put anything back as they found it... Many times it takes more effort to place these things how/where they do, then it would to just put back in its original place.

I sometimes follow these assholes around cleaning up after them hoping they notice me (they do) and get the hint (they don't).

I have plenty more, share yours.

* I realize it's common knowledge that working in retail sucks but for the sake of this thread...

It never ceases to absolutely amaze me what a Macy's will look like after a sale. Especially the tie counters! Who raised these people!?

Me: Hello, how are you doing today?

Customer: (gives me the stink eye, doesn't say ****)

Me: I'm doing well also, thank you.

This happens more than you would think... And I know they hear me. Then these same pricks have the nerve, to not ask for help, but demand it...

Customer: I need blah, blah, blah

I always pretend like I do not hear them. *Go **************

I love the ones who come up to me and go...

"Socks."

To which I reply "Yes, I am wearing socks today Sir."

Then I get the dirty look whilst I smile at them.

As a customer, I often feel badly when I can't refold a T shirt the same way it was originally folded. I know the SA is going to snicker and shake his head at my feeble attempt at putting it back. Not all of us are assholes.

My ex GF worked in a high end boutique that sold to many celebrities. Michelle Pfeiffer - super cool and courteous. Same with Reese Witherspoon. This other unnamed chick who was once married to a super famous rock star would buy something on Friday and return it Monday smelling like smoke and sometimes stained.

I work in a store where we have signs that request that you not do this. It makes way more work for us trying to hunt down whatever you did in your attempt to be helpful than it would be if you left it to us in the first place. I can't tell if this is a universal thing, though, so when I go to other stores I don't know what to do.

No offense to you but you're in retail and you get paid for doing ****** work. It's like a postman complaining about dogs. I don't fold clothes because I know someone gets paid doing that job. In fact, I purposely leave everything I try on unfolded so people like you could have a job.
