Double monks cheaper than the Lowndes?

I've never seen a pair in the wild either. Not even a single monk.

Then again, when I first joined SF, I used to think they were weird and elf-like. Now they're among my favourite designs.

Conditioning is a hell of a drug.

They're quite rare in London too.

I love double monks (way up there on my favourites) but I don't own a pair. Every time I'm in C&J I eye up a pair of Lowndes, usually try them on and then decide on something else as they look just a *tiny* bit flashy.

Whenever I've spotted them in London - they're always being sported by someone with tight trousers, no socks and something equally unsightly up top.

mine are not yet broken in (worn 5 occasions maybe?)... but they are quite hurting to my posterior ankle. dont know what it is about - i have other shoes with similar heel wall shape and material stiffness but these ones just make my heel aches... might have to give up the lowndes

Don't think its Cheaney, they would state made in UK instead of the EU.
