I know alot of people are on here from DC. I am in Hampton Roads area of VA and am looking to come up to DC this weekend with some friends. I checked the weather and it is calling for snow Friday and Saturday.

My question is coming up on 95 south how big of a problem will I have getting into the city with the weather that has been forcasted Friday afternoon? Our plans consist of going out Friday and Saturday night and checking out a museum or two on Saturday. We plan to stay downtown as well. How will the weather affect our plans? Should we reschedule another weekend?

Thanks for any advice from the DCer's

Try your best to get into the city before rush hour on friday (4pm) and you'll be fine. If it snows terribly over the weekend, as long as your car is parked safely somewhere it won't ruin your weekend - I managed to drop a few hundred dollars partying the weekend we got 20+inches of snow. Drop me a pm if you want to meet up, I'll be rolling hard friday and saturday.

I figured that as long as we got there then there wont be much driving. Just getting there and then being able to get out sunday. But I dont think it will be a massive storm or anything so we should be good. Down here if it snows 2 inches everybody goes crazy haha.

Thanks
