BTW, I would appreciate a critique of the fit of the suit I posted earlier today. I think it fits generally pretty well, but might do with a bit of suppression at the waist.

The fit is quite good overall, but due to your dimensions it looks boxy. The straight pockets and chest pocket also accentuate the boxiness of the suit. If you can pull the top button away from your body by more than 2", then you can get the jacket slimmed. Alternatively I suggest...uhm losing some weight. Are you seriously wearing 2 ear rings in the pic?

Actually, I checked yesterday (and tried knotting my way through some of the 85 ways of tieing a tie). It's neither; it's probably a nameless knot (#10 or so).

Evidently, I need to practice tieing ties more.

Today's effort. Smith & Co 13 oz sharkskin. Dark green Capelli tie. Merolla bengal stripe shirt. Unfortunately the integrated webcam doesn't really capture the color of the tie nor the texture of the suit. Very nice outfit, C. The shirt is great and that tie looks wonderful with navy. I'dve gone with dark brown suede with navy but you are the suede spokesman of styleforum
