I have a pair of tan pebble grain cap toe boots that suffered an incident with dishsoap (straight up Dawn spewed like Jackson Pollock over them, and I didn't notice until later).
I've done the Saphir Reno-Mat job and then a cream polish, but there's still some discoloration.
Any suggestions here? I'm an all Saphir man and have never used a leather soap (I generally rotate shoes and don't have much need beyond brushing and Renovateur).
As these are "country shoes" I'm not opposed to signs of good service, but don't want to simply cover up something that can be cleaned.
