I have bought a Church's model "Nene" (brogue, last 73), but I couldn't find this model neither in the catalog nor in the Herring website.
In my understanding, "Nene" should be a old version of Chetwynd (same last 73, brogue) or a variation of Burwood (brogue but last 81, roomy toe)
Can someone help me to understand what is "Nene" model?
I appreciate any help Thanks
Fabrizio

The predecessor of Chetwynd was Brisbane I beleive. Nene like Brisbane is on the 73 last but has a rubber heel top piece and I think part linen lined - could you confirm the lining?

So in other words the differences between your shoe and the predecessor to Chetwynd are the lining and the heel top piece.

You are right! Nene is a version very close to Brisbane.

Nene has:
- heel top piece is in rubber (instead of 1/2 rubber heel top)
- lining is 1/2 linen and 1/2 leather (instead of full leather lining)
Thanks
