Ditto. Live near there, go all the time. And, they always have that day's newspaper and 2 LCDs turned to something interesting.

I am a long time NY'er now in Chicago as well. Working in Hancock (Paul Stuart building).

I buy my suits on line at take them to Urek at Mega Tailor located at the corner of Dearborn and Superior. He really appreciates fine suits and understands details. I have taken 5+ suits to him and been very pleased. I noted several Brioni's on his rack the last time I was in.

Chang at 180 N LaSalle has a great reputation though I have never been. He makes shirts.

The best dry cleaners in Chicago is on Broadway & Wellington. I have momentarily forgotten the name. We go there...

I take my shoes to Tom's Walton between Rush & Clark.

Generally speaking many of these services are less expensive in Manhattan. Must be a volume thing...

There is a new shirtmaker in the Chicago area, Mathew Mathew, who has attended the CSE events.

I think he's in Oakbrook.

Matthew isn't open yet - last I checked he was saying it might be early summer.

I use Hallack in NYC and Barry Regent in Chicago, Hallack's prices are more than double BR's.
