These are stunning. Rain last is so beautiful. If it were wider in the ball and toes and narrower in the heels then I could wear it. Otherwise I enjoy seeing you guys post pics of your Rain footwear..
So much this, my liking for light chisel toe started with Rain last but it's heels are too wide. So I started looking for other similar lasts but with better fitting, and that search led me to EG 606 last (and bunch of other EG stuff)..

Hi everybody,

I want to ask u gents about the tomir sole because I use to work in very cold places. Could it be useful for me?

I use to use shoes with dainite sole.

I think Dainite is harder-wearing, and more durable. Tomir is a comfortable, slim sole, but I think Dainite provides a little more cushion underfoot. Not sure how they compare in the winter, I don't find Dainite all that grippy in the first place.

I really like Tomir and get that type of sole of most of my non-shell shoes. Decent grip in weather but still looks dressy. I agree Dainite is harder-wearing. York might be a nice compromise between the two.

For those who own suede uetam-lasted loafers, how is the break in and stretch?

Just received a pair and they are very tight on the instep and heel, but good in the length. Sized the same as Rain last... Wondering whether to keep them or try to go up a size or get an EE instead of standard E.

I would take them to a local shoe repair shop so they can strecht up the loafers for you within 2 days, rather than paying the delivery back... either way, suede always strechts at least 3 mm

That would be stunning.. However, we will leave that for the new web design we are currently working on.

Any other features you would like to have in Carmina's new website?

maybe the ability to look up the status of a custom order?

Anyone have experience with Carmina shoes in lama leather? How does it differ from calf? I believe its supposed to be softer...
