Wow. Are these to be a limited time run? I could happily see all three coming to my house but the midnight make me drool even though I have no idea what I could/would do with them.

Yes, this is a one-time project. We'll close the edition after the order is submitted.

Any plans to stock Carmina RTW in a 6 UK?

Not at the moment, we don't have a lot of customers with that size. But we can certainly make up a 6UK for you as a special order.

Damn you! I just purchased a pair of EG, Indy, and 1000 mile today and now I see these.

I am very interested in the scotchgrain and possibly the midnight blue. However, I have never tried a pair of these on and I would hate to waste money on something that doesn't fit correctly.

I best OTR fit is EG 888 in 11.5 US. Any idea as to how these compare? The C&J 337 and the lindrick last in 11.5 also fit . The trubalance in 11.5 works but not quite as well--at least not in cordovan with thick socks.

Any suggestions on getting the right fit besides going to NY? For instance, could I order another pair of shoes with the intention of returning them simply to verify that I should be ordering a certain size?

Thanks for any help and feedback on this and providing us with a great product that leave us with difficult choices.

I have the Sinclair in a 9E UK and it fits perfectly. I wear a 9E UK on the C&J 337 and a 9.5D US on the Alden Trubalance. Hope that helps!

I had a similar problem to you. Bought an EG Westminster double monk black calfskin a few weeks ago, 7.5E. I think it's the 888 last as well.

Best thing to do is go to a shoe store with a Brannock, or get sized for a pair of AE PA and drop Epaulet Mike a PM with the measurement. No doubt he'll help you figure it out. I ended up ordering the grey suede boot in a UK8/US9.

Edit: For reference, on the Brannock my left is an 8 and my right is a 7.5.

You and me both - they're in work as we speak. I can't wait for those!

Well you've got some good fit references there, so we should be able to dial in your size. Could you drop me a PM with the following info:

1. Your size in the 1000 miles
2. The UK size that's stamped on your EG 888's (if that's available)

The EG's will be a good guide, and the 888 Last speaks better to Carmina's lasts than the Tru-Balance does. And there's a wealth of info out there on how EG and Carmina sizes shakes out, so I can definitely help to guide you to the right size on these.

And then guide you into a compulsive, obsessive Carmina addiction

Grey suede is great, but I'm afraid they'd not be suitable for the weather here. But midnight blues look equally great!
