Canali at Nordstrom Rack, the real deal or made for outlet?

There was a Canali suit and sport coat at a local Nordstrom Rack. The sport coat was around $700 and the suit around $900. Both had Canali tags, and that was the price listed on the sticker. It wasn't a sticker that was pasted over the regular MSRP that you sometimes see when something is marked down. It made me wonder if these are full, regular line Canali suits or some sort of made for outlet line? Is that a decent deal or can I do better?

Hello again. To my knowledge, Canali does not produce an outlet line. It's more than likely old stock.

Nordstrom does produce a line under it's own name for it's outlets, but brands like that are going to be from the main stores. Some decent deals to be had though they seem to be happening not as often.

I don't know. When I consider things like that, my primary concern is the need for the item, the fit and if it's something that is otherwise aesthetically appealing.

Do you actually need the suit for something or just want a suit? Does it fit? Is the fabric, color and, if patterned, something that appeals to you?

If you answered yes, then you should do it. If no to any of them, then hold off.
