what kind of place is it?
i want a dirty italian sports club where there are dozens of old retired guys yelling at each other over meaningless card games where by 11am the espresso machine has punched out 220 espressos already...
*** just looked at the website... the espresso will be crap.
nah i want greasy, cheesy, crispy thicker crust pizza...
did Charcut again the other night.... there's nothing wrong with it but i'd recommend Una Pizza over it. Una was less than half the price for 3 of us and full of eye candy.

Oh hai... this thread.
did the Grizzly House in Banff. It was pretty good. Will bring the wife next time.
Ruth's Chris in Calgary was very much a Ruth's Chris experience It is the best one i've been to actually. Better than the ones in Toronto or Denver.
did Diner Deluxe on a sunday... bad news... 1 hour wait for a good but not 1 hour wait good breakfast. OEB was closed which contributed to the extra long wait.
forbidden city in the mall on 36th is my go to for chinese food thus far. anyone have better choices?
I'll disagree with Avenue Magazine and put Mercato above Bon Terra for Italian too.
Anything in Chinatown is horrid. Greasy, unauthentic and a little too 'westernized'.
