I don't include lengths on shirts. Other than the ubiquitous, "I'll GIVE you x for it.", it's the only question I've gotten more than once. It's not enough to start including that info. Half the time I'll reply, but it never results in a sale.

What about potential customers who don’t buy your item because you didn’t provide that information in the listing?

I can't tell you how many times I've looked at a listing, but moved on because some pertinent information was not in the listing.

I just feel the extra time measuring length on a dress shirt would slow me down too much to be worth it. Am I missing some potential sales? Certainly, but I'm not doing this full time either.

Maybe peeps could hash out a collective FAQ boilerplate aimed at reducing questions.

I’ve seen some impressive listings like this on Grailed, mentioning that people who ask something already covered will be blocked or ignored. Seems fair. I’ve seen others list measurements and ask buyers to do their own research on fit. IIRC, Spoo’s b&s listings always lead with pertinent info, which was a nice touch — seemed very helpful, professional, and (I felt) probably gave buyers an opportunity to think twice before asking needless questions.

Think of it like using an inkjet printer vs. a thermal label printer. It's not a lot, but it's enough that I won't do it.

Measuring garments gives me more time to spot defects and damage. I also think that providing measurements adds up to more sales and higher prices. But hey, YMMV.

I provide P2P and sleeve length. I'm sure if I provided length down the back, I'd be asked for length down the front or some other such nonsense. I'm satisfied, if someone passes my item by, oh well.

I’m 5’8” and size small, length of a shirt is really important for me when buying, would not buy one online if I didn’t know how long it was. Just my 2 cents from a buyer perspective

Whoa... eBay is acting up these days. Sure was a brief notice they put up about it. All my 300+ listings seem to have disappeared from my store. Also got recurring errors trying to send invoices. And a buyer is claiming I sent him a fake Brioni polo. What a travesty.
Anyone else having the disappearing listings problem?

Just to check... would one or more of you guys click the link to my store and tell me what you see in terms of inventory and categories?
