From your trip to Northampton? These are the kind of Galways I would snatch up. Did you mention what they had on offer at the factory store?View attachment 910384
just when I'm starting to worry I might be turning into too much of a conformist, I slip on a pair of EG Utah boots and am reminded this leather is easily my most favorite EG leather.
Thank you and if G&G fits someone well it never disappoints .Rainbow flecks in the weave are brilliant!
Boots ain’t bad, either. Amazing patina.
But those draws....

You are going to have to upload a picture (or pictures) of your Northampton swag sooner or later. No didn't get these in Northampton.
Turned out the EG factory only had one pair I wanted to take; a beautiful pair of Chestnut Utah Galways. They had lot's of regular shoes (not boots) in stock in my size, and a few boots. I'd say of all the factory stores I visited, they had the most selection in terms of various sizes, and shoes as well as boots on offer. I went there for two things; was hoping I would get lucky and they'd have the Camden in brown Utah, they did but not my size, and they had the Chestnut I wanted.

Very nice. I have a pair in brown Utah on the 64 last (veldt, shearling-lined shaft). After a couple of winters, that leather gets better and better.
