Back to the 30s/40s here in Chicago this weekend. Some time left to sport my Purdey Conistons before they hibernate for the summer.

Does anyone know if a Blake stitched shoe can be converted to Blake/Rapid by a cobbler? Will probably resole my boots this year and was hoping this could be done; currently water wicks through the bottom into the shoe.

If the cobbler can do a credible job of Blake, Blake Rapid should be no problem.

X post from Vass thread. Recent transfer of title from @Shouldaville - by the way spot on with the sizing advice and all the help/info my man.

I love this Valway makeup. Oxblood/Black Scotch grain with Goyser stitching and Vibram Commando sole. It's my first Vass and I'm obviously quite smitten. A few side by side Skoak Doak brotherly shots too. I wanted something slightly more casual than the EG's, and I think this will work. I'm really impressed with the craftsmanship from Vass and the fit was spot on.

Buday boots, very polarizing, most comments positive, one comment "they look like clown shoes" spoken by a workmate that has worn the same tired, scuffed dull square toed monstrosities every day for the last 2 years, I took it as a compliment!

A clown with style. Very bold, but they work!

Cross post from the J. Fitzpatrick thread:
Here is the link to one of my new MTOs with Justin: a green and grey Wedgwood boot: http://blog.jfitzpatrickfootwear.com/2016/03/green-is-the-new-blue/. They're on their way to me now and I can't wait! I also have a pair of MTO spectators coming with them that I am sure will be great even though GASP they're just regular shoes and not boots. Hey, we all make mistakes....
