Look at Swiss Army (Dive Master 500, or Chrono Classic), Citizen (They have some nice complicated models, with AR-coatings and nice bracelets that help make them look a little pricier). All can be had in NIB condition from the 'Bay.

I'm really into watches and buy 'used' (mint condition, flipped regularly by collectors ; ) for myself all the time, but I would avoid buying used for more than one person, especially if you're buying multiples of the same watch and want them to match.
