I'm looking for some high quality bespoke collar stays. I'm just no longer satisfied with off the shelf varieties. Can anybody recommend a merchant?

Your bespoke shirt maker should provide them to you, cut to fit and with your shirts. If you have lost yours, just call him (or her) up and ask for more.
If you want bespoke collar stays for your RTW shirts, then you are an idiot.

I can't afford a bespoke shirt. I just want bespoke collar stays.

You can cut your own from the transparent plastic containers you get in a salad bar. They are crystal clear, elegant and with a sharp scissor, you will have a perfect fit. You might want to buff the edges with a nail file or emery board. If you don't want to do this yourself, ask a friend, so you can tell people you "had them made for you."

If you're looking to save a little cash, you can grow your own. It should only take a few years for 10 stays.

There was a thread here a while ago where people proposed the idea that cheap plastic collar stays are the best choice if you don't want "airplane wing" collars.
