Any solution for this problem. I have an oddly prominent posterior - looks good in jeans, but it causes problems particularly w/single vent jackets. I just got a great 3-r-2 Aquascutum suit on Fleabay, fits like a dream, great navy pinstripe, pants are slim and the right length, perfect sleeves - but when I button the jacket and stand at anything less than perfect attention, I get about 1, 1.5 inches of V at the end of the vent, because it's not designed for a 30-inch waist with a 34 or 36 inch hips. Could a tailor extend the vents laterally or otherwise fix it? If not, no biggy - as a suit, it won't be that noticeable because it's dark and the stripes will create a vertical line. But I'm just a little self-conscious of the pulling over the vents when I'm, say, leaning on the bar.
