1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I think Snitz was much more trad.

Agreed - while Snitz limited my Andy viewing, it seemed to fit so well with the boxy, 80s-era-volvo aesthetic recommended by the trads...

    Steven:

Hotmail sent every message to me from Ask Andy into the Spam folder. You should find your password reset messages there.

Thanks for the tip, Tyto. The Spam folder was empty, so I emailed Malinda directly.

Andy provides a great service for free. I'm sure they're working hard to get the site running. Andy and Malinda derserve support, not criticism.

AAC is a great site- no dispute.

I think this was more of an addict's outcry for his drug thatn criticism...

I'm clicking it every 15 minutes too, so I know where his pain comes from.[IMG]

I requested my new password via the link on my AAAC email yeterday and it never came.
I got the new password but cannot log in. I assume this has something to dot with the fact that my username has non-latin-1 character (É).

Still, I guess we will just have to wait a bit until they have the time to adress those kind of menial concerns. They still have a little too much maintenance work to do, it seems.
