Are Coogi sweaters still in style? You know, the ones that Biggie used to wear?

Well, my studly frat boy son says a "Cosby Sweater" is what you get when you make a pledge eat about three boxes of Fruit Loops and 24 beers and put him in front of his shirtless fellow pledge. This means no.

    I think you're onto something.

If you live somewhere that Coogi was ever "in style" I think you will be safe wearing the same crap today and on into perpetuity.

No, not them . But yes, if you have some of their older sweathers. Hip hop folks popularize the multi-colored sweathers starting in the late 80s. Before then, Coogi made "standard" styled wool sweaters in basic colors (in the early 80s and long before then). The construction was very good and the quality of the wool was high end. Back then I got several from TJMaxx for my kids and they are still being worn by grandkids. I'll try to take some pics.
