Any opinions on suits from the Joseph Abboud Collection at Men's Warehouse?

I know Men's Warehouse is frowned upon, but has anyone had any experience (either positive or negative) with suits from the Joseph Abboud Collection? I have been told by multiple associates that these suits are fully lined. I know something like Suit Supply may be a better alternative, but unfortunately I am on a timeline and haven't moved to NYC yet. My plan is to buy two (at $500 per) and then fill out the rest of my rotation with something like Suit Supply. Here is a link to what I am considering. Any opinions are appreciated, I do not want to make a costly mistake.

Edit: I ordered from Suit Supply and it arrived overnight. I am much happier to take this route and appreciate all of the comments that helped steer me in this direction. Thanks!

First of all, take anything you're told by the salesmen with a grain of salt. Not saying they would deliberately lie to you or mislead you, but they may just not know much about how a suit is made to be authorities on the matter. My best advice would be to determine whether you consider the suits a good investment would be to try them on and see how they fit you. I know that sounds like glib advice, but at a lower price point, you just aren't going to get a masterpiece of hand tailoring, nor is that something you necessarily need if you are just looking for a suit that fits you well and looks good on you. Brooks Brothers makes a decent entry level suit and with the number of sales and other types of discounts you can get, might offer a reasonably good alternative. Good luck..

Fully lined is something completely different from fully canvassed. AFAIK, the Joseph Abboud Made in USA suits are half canvassed.

If you are set on going to Men's Wearhouse, they have a suit drive until the end of this month. If you donate items, you get a coupon for half off your next purchase. I'm not affiliated with them, so check their site for more info.

I will assume that the Abboud suit is made in their factory in new Bedford, MA.last time I saw one was about 2 years ago in the JA apparel showroom, before mens' warehouse bought the name back for "Joe the crybaby"

it was a nice clean suit.
half canvas.
decent american made garment.
not amazing, but if it fits well, you will look just fine.
