Really wanted to pick up some shoes in the 2/250 sale... but what was available in my size really hasn't changed much since the last 2/250 sale a few months ago. I have AE Benton and its a size 9D. 678 Last. If it helps.

I got that recently and still reading/learning on all the Last and sizing etc.

Got my Eagle County boots today and I'm pretty glad I got 10e (10.5e in my McAllister, but it's almost too big). Left is a little snug but they seem to fit well. I'll wear them a little at home to make sure they're good.

Quality is solid though and really like the thick sole. It'll be good for winter duty as well.

I was able to snag a pair of these today!

I can't wait to wear them on Election Day, Veterans Day, 4th of July, etc...

I love the red white and blues. I ordered a pair of second sin my size early this year, and had to return them because the eyelets were way off... I so wanted a pair for the same reasons you did, Election Day, Veterans Day, 4th of July, etc... Enjoy them, I am envious, and wish I had a pair.

Just came back from shopping with the wife. She dropped a decent amount in Aerosoles or whatever that store is. I commented "damn babe, you must have gotten some nice shoes." She struck back with "yea, three pairs....that's what you pay for 1 pair." I shut up immediately and considered myself owned, not wanting to go into how I have "saved money" on all of this magnificent footwear.

I love the color.  Interestingly, it looks similar to the dark cognac shell I have from another maker.
