After my first day of hard wear in the Pattons, my toe counters are starting to crush. It does not look too bad, but I wonder if a lighter counter was planned for this Kudu bootie.

for those tracking over/under on my target net gain of 6 shoes in 2020:

Confirmed Purchases:
  1. Hamilton, gray suede
  2. MacNeil, burgundy suede
Confirmed sales:
None

Purchases under consideration:
  1. Neumok, cherry suede
  2. Neumok, denim suede
  3. TS20.2 Shell
  4. 7th Ave
Sales under consideration:
None
And the secret is: Buy what you like, wear what you buy. Don't worry about a number. If it "pops" out at you, get it if affordable.

Can anyone tell me what the heck these symbols by the Strandmok and Neumoks mean?

I feel like I’m always trying to play tree catch up, so I took a look. I only did QTY 1, which would ship two sets, and the shipping was 17. Thinking I’ll hold off for now.

I just picked up two Rochester Co. shoe trees and one of unknown manufacture (could be Woodlore) at a thrift shop for $1 each! There was another shoe tree but I'm not counting it as it was the ineffective variety (though brand new).

I have three newest pairs of A/E full toe cedar shoe trees in medium that I’d like to trade for smalls. I figure postage would beat out having to buy and sell them.

I think I have a couple of Jos A. Bank by Woodlore that are size small. They were sent to me by mistake, I wouldn't consider them "new" however. Let me know if you're interested in a partial trade or something.

Does anyone know anything about the Ralph Lauren AE lines? I bought a pair of “Saunders” chukka boots in snuff suede but can’t find any info on the last other than a few posts on here that say they fit true to size. Any info would be much appreciated!

Years ago (before the Shoe Bank was on line) I called Jeffersonville to order a pair of "Sandersons" which is the LWB (also on the 2 last). Apparently, me saying "Sanderson" with a southern accent sounds like "Saunders" to an Ohio ear because they shipped me the Saunders."

They looked great but weren't what I had thought I ordered. They DID pay return shipping for me.

Water repellant (think scotch guarded from factory like rapello suede)
(Already looked into the matter a week or so ago) ;p
Did you find that explanation on the site somewhere, or did you have to ask? (Just curious, because I didn't see any legend on the site to explain it...)

Just be happy you didn't call Woodbury; they might have sent you Bernie Sanders.

Select factory seconds reduced to $199 and $149 for five days only!

Hopkinsons for $199 y'all.
Liverpools for $199.

Cornwallis, Grayson, Carlyle for $149

Can you think of a time they were lower? I can't!

Anyone without a dark captoe who can make the 201 last work but does NOT get a pair of Hopkinsons for $199 (assuming no significant flaws) does not need to be operating any heavy equipment or raising impressionable children.

We just don't need anyone that stupid occupying any important positions in our society. :-D

I appreciate it but I have some unbranded as well as some Cole Hahn trees in small I was going to unload because I’m just that kind of a CDO nerd.
