It's still McTavish Thursday in the Pacific time zone. Wore khaki grain McTavishes all day today.

For fans of "A-E In The Wild" pictures, saw the "Downton Abbey" film at the AMC 15 theater in Century City (West Los Angeles) this evening. Since there were no "Downton Abbey" things in the lobby to interact with, interacted with the next best thing, an "Addams Family" thing. (They sort of dress alike in both films.)

For fans of food pictures in shoe threads, had Afternoon Tea at Clementine (across the street from the Century City Mall) before seeing the film.

Had tea and a first course of four sandwiches.

Then had more tea and a second course of two currant scones with clotted cream and lemon curd and six little dessert things.

For those who want to see more shoes, went in the Allen-Edmonds Century City store, which appeared to be staffed by two high school students in an after school work experience program, and took a picture of some shoes.

Some of you who have posted pictures wearing your new Spier & Mackay moleskin trousers may have noticed I am wearing a pair of Orvis moleskin trousers that are probably older than some members of this group.

On the off chance anyone wants to see more pictures from today, have posted more on my Instagram page having finally (sort of) figured out how to post pictures on Instagram.
At first, I thought the derbies had toe caps, and are new!, then realized the perfectly placed shadow of the shelf above.

Lemme guess, you like frozen bagels too? ;)
For bagels, I will give that to NY - something about the water... But can we talk cheesecake?

Eli’s.

I'll weigh in...
Being from New Orleans, I appreciate good food. Oddly enough, I dont like pizza or cheesecake. Bagels never excited me - that is until my future-first-ex-wife took me to her hometown of Montreal. Damn! Montreal bagels are hard to beat!
And poutine. And smoked meat.

these are some great deals - but i heard from a SA that the winter (black friday?) sales are similar if not better. i'm currently only interested in the basic models (park, fifth, etc.) - would it be better to wait?
Unlikely.

Ask your SA if they’ll put that in writing.
