What is the sizing like on the ALD x NB 1300s? I found the p550s ran a half size small relative to standard New Balance sizing.
Unrelated but I find it hilarious that if you go to google '550 sizing' you'll have hypebeast threads/youtube vids of people talking about sizing down half for the 550 and I CANNOT understand their reasoning. Those communities have some fascination with having shoes as fitted as possible no matter the discomfort level. Is it a silhouette thing? For reference I would've loved to size up half for the 550, as TTS is cutting it close.

I dunno about other sneakers but for 550s I definitely found that sizing down helps with the heel slippage. I'd rather have it a bit snug with no slippage than roomy with slippage because if i'm wearing sneakers I'm wearing them out, running in them, etc. But yea 550s are the only shoes I've had heel slippage issues with, other shoes I go for roomy comfort.

They likely mean half down from what they wear in Nike and/or other NB silhouettes.

I take a 9.5 in 992s, 991s, but a 9 (my true Brannock) is best for 550s and 997s. There is not a single Nike silhouette that I take in my true size.

so i'm looking at getting the (non-ald) uniform crewneck and its matching sweatpant for errand-running

was previously considering reigning champ, but i like the look/fit and ald's lighter shade of grey better

can anybody comment on their durability, though?

like, i'm looking for something that'll be able to withstand regular machine washing and (machine) drying

considering they're 20oz items, i think that they should be good with regard to that?

and hate to be that guy, but does ald hold promotions/sales often?

and if they do, are their uniform pieces typically included in them?

through some googling, i saw that they held a sale in july of last year - is that a regular thing, or was that more of a one-off?

though if i'd have to wait all of the way til black friday or something for a discount, then i'll probably just grab the sweatsuit now
