How heavy and breathable is the fabric? I bought the black Kantha ripstop Yousef a couple years ago, but it was much heavier than the ripstop Double Knees, and it was difficult to wear in the heat.

I think it’s great for the heat, as it is the standard 18 east ripstop fabric. The shorts this year are unlined unlike the shorts last year, so they do wear a bit lighter. Not sure if the yousef you had was unlined but this one is mostly a single layer of fabric.

Unlined shorts would be better IMO. I have the beige ones, and find them a little heavy for warm weather.

If anyone has the beige Kantha bucket hat they could move, hit me up!

Chestnut I believe (flapped pocket). It has the same or very similar fit as the Wolf.
