Anybody else get their block print shelter shorts in yet? Was really looking forward to them, but gotta say I’m a little disappointed by what the product shots looked like vs what I got.

Guess I’m curious if this is just a thing where each pair will vary or if everyone’s are very muted compared to product shots.

Picked up some nylon shorts and a linen popover last weekend, really happy with both and looking forward to seeing more of the summer drops. Really like the new shorts that are being dropped, wonderful cut and fabric.

One very minor piece of product feedback @NickPollica - all the bottoms I've gotten recently have had mesh pockets and my keyrings keep getting stuck in them and I've ripped it in my pair of Bennys a bit.

These are the shorts in several colors that will be dropped soon yes? Looking forward to these! Are they a looser cut?

Yeah they dropped in the studio and I grabbed a pair in olive. Definitely looser, I went tts though because I tried a size up to get a bit more volume around the thigh and couldn’t cinch down the waistband enough. But even tts there’s plenty of volume around the thigh. Nothing worse than a slim short imo.

Totally agree! I can understand the mesh in more functional shorts, but it’s quite open (big holes) so they always get hooked in key rings. Luckily there’s almost always extra pockets.

I noticed that too on the split shirt. I personally liked that it was more muted in person.

Isle shirt just arrived and it’s gaaaaasss. The imperfect block printing works great for the style. A little heavier and less see-through than other similar shirts, in a good way—I think it makes it less delicate and more wearable in true 18 east fashion. Cut is nice too, especially appreciate the arm holes which are nice and roomy.

Also, the graphics on the hoodies and tees coming in the next drop look incredible. Shoutout to whoever designed those.

Concur 100% on the Isle shirt. Like you said, it’s a bit heavier than expected, but with the loose, gauzy weave it should still be pretty airy. And the detail is just impeccable. I’m a big fan of 18 East, but occasionally they release a piece that’s a few levels beyond their already stellar lineup. This is one of those.
