I would say the Inis scarf or one of the Drakes fairisle knit scarves. And I say that because those are two things I picked up for my wife last year. She wears them a ton, plus I get to steal them every now and then.

Yeah, the Inis scarf is really high up there right now--the copper one. The fairisle scarf I really like... I wonder how much she would like it... she hates my fairisle sweater haha.

All those scarves seem like the would make good lady friend gifts. Hombre is very cool. The IM scarves are really really nice. And that's a funny story in that spoiler Newc. Sounds like you need a special bawz.kopper@gmail address for your NMWA correspondence. You are going to need to go deep underground here.

Yeah, I am seriously debating that. Or at least I am debating putting them in their own folder. Probable under the "Taxes" folder or something like that.

That is actually a really good choice--I see a lot of wimmenz wearing that color. Very versatile (which she likes).

I picked up a Drakes fair isle scarf for my wife this year. Should be a hit.

A week later I picked up one for myself. You know, presents from our son for mommy and daddy.

Hahaha good call. I really like those ones.

quoted for the lulz

I am not proud of that response of mine.

I thought you were operating under $200. Also, I forbid this until you pick one up for yourself first. I've gotten a bunch of stuff from NMWA and the tartan wispy cashmere stole I picked up when the store went live is still my favorite purchase.

Well I can always maybe borrow--I would go up to $300.

I do want a wispy cashmere--I promise I will pick one up.

Is the cost of the gift included in the RPC limit? :smarmy:

It's the best scarf on the site IMO. The lady friend will love it. You will then get jealous and immediately purchase one.

The one linked to?

And Frank, it goes without saying, but that looks great. You have that "look" down.

And as someone who should and may buy himself a wispy cashmere scarf, let me say that "wispy cashmere" in a neutral color is perhaps the quintessence of a lady scarf.

Or just go all in and get her an orange one with little elephants and whatnot on it. :)

Just in general. I like all the colors personally. I think that color is the best of the wispy cashmeres for the lady friend though.

That is man scarf though.

I went with natural wispy cash. Now, the question of surprise gift, or wait until Christmas. I wish someone would surprise me with wispy cashmere scarves (hint hint, Greg), so I am leaning towards the former.

anyone have real life fit pics of the TS(S) scarves? I really like that navy blue and hounds tooth one but would love to see it worn
