Thanks Frank! They're probably my favorite pair of trousers. They're just so comfortable and easy to wear.@baltimoron Love those trousers. You really wear them too.
Dude! I just booked my poker trip to Vegas for mid December and SdC rabbits are coming with meToo much for Vegas? lol
I've never been to Vegas in the winter but it's a desert out there right? It's bound to get cold at night then!
Im a 10.5 with a wide foot and 43 Buttero is.perfect
I am a size US9.5 on the narrow side of medium. I wear a size 42 in Buttero that is a little bit big; size 41.5 would probably be ideal. I think you are a size 42 in the low tops, but we'll see what Greg says.
Secret handshake. Sorry dude.Reading back to last year's posts around Thanksgiving I notice there was a sale for founding members. Is this an elite club or is there any way I can join?
Thanks guys. Sounds like a 42.5 would be perfect. Not sure if I should err on the small or large side though.....
anyone has sizing guidance for - http://www.nomanwalksalone.com/index.php/pleated-pants-in-grey-houndstooth.html - reference Rota sz 46
We are the same size, and my foot is also pretty wide for a D. With a thin sock or barefoot, definitely go 42. Suede and calf will both stretch a little (canvas won't as much). I would walk out of a 43.
I'm 50 Formosa, 52 Eidos in SCs, like you I believe, and have the Leder in L. Slimmer wouldn't have worked.
@gdl203
Quick Buttero Question to confirm sizing. I'm pretty much a 43/9 UK/ 10US, but need a bit of a wider last (ie. Carmina Rain, potentially P2 Vass). Am I best off trying purchasing a 42 in the standard low tops? Any sizing or break in difference between suedes and leathers?
Thanks.
This. Either that, or your need to tightly cinched waist. Otherwise. with a shorter jacket, the wind will go straight up your back and give you a frisson, and not the pleasant kind you read about in novels either.I bought the NR Moscow but haven't worn it yet. When I lived in Chicago, I wanted long coats. When the temperatures drop and the wind whips off the lake, longer is better.
does the same sizing applies to Buttero boots as well, will US7 be 39?Yes I would say 42 on the nose. Suede will be more comfortable out of the box with little breaking in needed. Veg tan calf will be stiff and feel like you just bought shoes too small at first, but will quickly soften and shape with wear. We recommend the same size
