Epaulet Sewn by Hand footwear is our exclusive in-house brand. Each piece is handsewn and meticulously crafted in Maine of the finest leathers and materials.
The Cumberland is a classic 4-eyelet camp moccasin made from butter-soft Natural Chesapeake leather from Horween. The upper is sewn onto a durable rubber sole with a textured finish for grip on wet surfaces. The moccasin toe is hand-stitched and topped off with raw leather laces, brass eyelets, and a padded footbed. We gave this particular make-up a glove leather liner to ensure that it holds its structure and is as comfortable to wear in cooler months as it is in warmer ones.
The handsome “bark” color is a rich combination of brown, olive and slate that’s remarkably deep without being overly dark. It’s a pleasure to pair, all the way from washed red to navy.
