Pros: Fantastic combination of material and weave, color and pattern are modern and not too loud

Berg & Berg offered several types of bow ties this summer ('13), and I got my hands on this printed silk (unlined) in basketweave.

The choice of weave combined with the fact that there is no interlining makes this bow tie very light and perfect for the varm summertime.

The silk fabric itself has a kind of crisp stiffness when you touch it, but it is very pliable and easy to tie.

The diamond point style adds to the versatility of the bow. IMO it can be used with a button down oxford (rolled up sleeves) with chinos just as well as with a 3-piece suit.

At 68€ I think the quality is great, and they usually have two sales every year if you are willing to take the risk of your favorites being sold out...
