Adidas x The Soloist Rod Laver Vin

Adidas x The Soloist Rod Laver Vin

Suede grey leather with a weathered sole. Same structure as adidas rod lavers.
Pros: Nice suede leather, simple style
Cons: narrow soles, too many lace holes
I ordered this shoe on ebay since the collab is no longer in season. I got them because they had a design very similar to the suede common projects seen here for less than half the price

Although the design is similar, the toe area is a little too small, the tongue is longer, there are more laces, and the sole is much more narrow on the adidas pair. Additionally, the sole is not stitched on and I've had issues with bleeding indigo, which haven't seemed to be a problem with common projects. Another issue - and probably the biggest one - is that the narrow sole makes your feet push against the walls of the shoe. While this isn't a huge issue for me, I would high recommend not purchasing them if you have wide feet.

All in all it's still a good shoe. I'm really happy with my purchase and it's simple design will make this work with a lot of outfits.
