For sale is this scarce Horween Color 4 Shell Cordovan belt made from a single long piece of shell. This was purchased directly from Horween on one of the rare occasions when these were offered.
The belt is 35 mm wide (1-3/8 in.) and size 40, though a good cobbler should be able to shorten it for you if needed. The shell is in overall great shape, with a few surface abrasions and buckle imprints from wear over the years. There is a slight color variation mid-way along the belt with a sharp line of demarcation. I'm not sure of the origin of this line, but the 1-piece Color 8 belt I have exhibits the same feature, so I would guess it's related to production. The nickel plated brass buckle shows a very small amount of surface wear.
