Hand Tea Dyed Piacenza Angora, Cashmere & Wool Suspender Trousers with Bemberg Cupro lining​

A super limited edition ETP01 handmade trouser design is one of only 4 pieces of its kind made in the entire world this season exclusively for Darklands in Berlin. It was created from our fully lined 1910’s carrot shape leg trouser pattern from our tailoring research, and cut using a luxurious “Cashgorissimo” angora, cashmere and wool herringbone fabric woven for us in Pollone Biella, Italy, by the oldest woolen mill and most respected cashmere makers in the world, Fratelli Piacenza 1733 Spa, along with authentic Bemberg cupro linings for super softness and comfort, then individually hand dyed in our studios with English tea leaves in a special process and technique which took over 8 hours for the piece. The piece also features remarkable hand finished buttons in real olive wood made exclusively for us in Padova, all sewn on by hand with vintage double-backing buttons for extra strength and quality, and 6 real hand stitched buttonholes (that require at least 8-10 minutes to create each one) in luxurious pure silk Bozzolo Reale Seta Milano threads with hand stitched buttons, real hand sewn taped hemlines (not machined), and generous 2.5 cm seam allowances on major fitting seams that allow the trouser to be altered and let out a full two sizes larger than its original cut. Variations in colour and color density are not imperfections or irregularities, but specific characteristics of the special hand dyeing technique. Please treat button and buttonholes with care. We recommend professional clean only or hand wash cold water. Do not place in machine washer or dryer. Do not wash with other items.​
