Winner of the most flagrant waste of shell cordovan award.

if it makes you feel any better, that was probably black shell. all my unlined black shell has that green tinge. i would be upset if that boot was lined; would want to see the shell sparkle atleast from the inside

It was actually walnut, they were priced at $1000. I'm not sure if it was a sample or seconds.

i recall the sample sale boots having a cut somewhere on the boot?

Interested, I thought I had remembered it as being the same color as the pre-order that sold out in 8 seconds or whatever, but I guess not. I do feel as though I remember them as warning they were 2nds though.

There was the walnut shell, black shell and black pebble grain. I bought black pebble and I bought it ~15 minutes into sale. Definitely did not sit a few days

Ok, well, apparently ive had a brain aneurism or something and have lost the gift of memory. Hopefully I at least have some Memento style adventures in my future.

After a lot of thought and as much as it pains me to do this- I'm going to offer up my Brandy Shell size 9 preorder.

I've had some stuff come up recently and it just makes more sense for me to be spending the $$$ elsewhere.

I haven't talked with Guy at Viberg, but I don't feel like it would be much of an issue transferring over the invoice (but I'm sure the size 9 is pretty set in stone at this point in production).

I know how much I was looking forward to these so I'm hoping one of you who were drooling over these but missed out can take this preorder off my hands! PM me if you're interested and we can begin to work out the details and everything!

fyi, i was able to change my size from 9.5 to 10 last friday...

Sample sale is cool but don't get your hopes too high. There's not like a full run of walnut cordovan boots in pristine shape for $300 a pop or anything. Very hit or miss.

The black shell sample sale boots had a cut on them. They sat on the site for a few days and dropped in price to around $800 before they finally sold.
