Depends on your build. But for me, I realized that I preferred Contemporary in both. I found a Contemp jacket with Slim trousers made the pants look even more "peg leg".

First pic below is Contemp jacket with Slim trousers. Second pic below is both pieces Contemp. For me the second pic shows a lot more proportionality and classic style:

I think the contemporary looks good on you. Hard for me to say if the slim would look better

Anyone have experience with the ivory double breasted dinner jacket? Only a 40 slim left and given I’m in Europe, it’s a risk, but style wise it’s very much what I want to get married in.
Are they very slim compared to the contemporary?
And if anyone has one they feel like selling, 40/42ish please let me know

They absolutely did. I've been "down" on Spier for a while and haven't made a purchase in quite some time. This season has me thinking about making a purchase or two (out of several I'd have jumped at before).

Don’t have that exact shirt but have cotton-linen from them. Pretty cool wearing for the most part, but won’t travel very well. You have to kind of sacrifice one or the other

I have the cooper collar shirt of that fabric. It's cool, but it's very soft like an old t-shirt. Their poplin is very lightweight, more crisp. I'd go with for work.

almost. lot of fabrics i could have been interested in, but not a fan of the patch-pocket-inside-a-patch-pocket that has permeated their SC collection for a couple years now. i'm way overdressed for 99% of my interactions in a given week, the last thing i need is another objectively weird and indefensibly twee detail i never asked for.
