Houndstooth suit

it's been on my mind for a long time...i hope the pattern is as subtle as the photo depicts

Ignore the shape of the suit I was sitting with my arm around a beautiful woman, my wife.

That similar to what I had made up in a DB suit; still haven't gotten round to wearing it yet (it's a winter weight).

It depends on the size of the houndstooth and your eyesight, from a distance it looks light grey as the check is small. I think a larger check in black and white would look too flashy/spivy.

It is not a flannel.

The cloth looks a lot like the Minnis Rangoon I mentioned upthread. I did have mine made up and wear it occasionally, but don't have any photos kicking around.

If you are referring to my suit it is made from Dugdale's 8711 in their Formal Wear bunch IIRC.

Jacket came in...beautiful fabric. It is so soft and hangs nicely (a bit of a gap in the around the neck, right side)
