smile.gif
Pingson- that's a great jacket- 2 great jackets really, and a fantastic tie- so subtle, so dry Would appreciate opinions on which is better below?- with the blue linen, or same fit, brown escorial tie. Cream poplin shirt, white linen PS
Deets.. Lite Blue Linen- Hober
Escorial wool tie from Panta Vass Italian Oxford
The solid blue is the winner!

imo, socks generally look better in a fit when they are lighter than the trou. i dont always adhere to that, but i think it is usually the case. as matter of fact, the socks/pants/shoes are my favorite part of his fit.

I would say it is better for socks to be lighter rather than darker than the trousers. But I do think the socks are TOO light in this case.

Bah, I have the picture framed so I don't crop (the tripod is probably placed within centimeters of each previous position). Perhaps I should pull the camera back so the masses can behold my awesome sock collection (solid browns, navies, tans and blacks).

But if it makes the masses feel better, I went home and changed into the walnut cliftons before going to dinner. It was looking like rain and I've not put rubber on the boots yet...probably just an excuse to cave under the sheet weight of dead horse beatings.
