Does anyone have suggestions for top shoe polishes to maintain our Lobb,Edward Green,Mantellassi, etc. shoes? It seems that Kiwi and Meltonian(owned by Kiwi&#33

are as commonplace as Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds. Are there superior products available without searching the ends of the earth?

I have some of the Cura wax polish, which is owned by Woodlore, which is owned by Allen Edmonds. You might want to look at Alden (which I haven't tried). It would be nice to find an online source for some of the English polishes. (And, yes, I do want to try the Lincoln&#33

Anyone heard Avel?
Yes, Avel is the manufacturer of Saphir. Execellent cremes, waxes, and cleaners. They also manufacture for J.M. Weston, and I think also Lobb and Berluti.

I have to second Saphir. A truly superlative polish.

Any idea who manufactures Allen Edmonds shell cordovan shoe cream? Cura or someone else? I don't see any shell cordovan cream on Cura's website though. And how effective is their cream compared to, say, Alden's shell cordovan wax polish?
