^^ wow, those look amazing! How does the cut compare to the 0705? Based on measurements, it looks like the fit should be pretty similar, if maybe slightly more tapered.

OOO. Gotta decide between the Grand Inidigo and the regular 0701. The wear on that grand indigo does look nice.

It is the "Tight Straight" fit. Same fit as the Going to Battle 0705-SP and the Vintage 0701.

the new momotaro grand indigo tight straight looks exactly like the context x grand indigo pair,
but the white stitching kinda puts me off.

The "Japan Blue" is painted on the interior waist line. No one would ever see it, unless you are showing it off to the ladies

The cut is like the 0705-SP, Momotaro's slimmest cut and is even slimmer than the Vintage 0701

The Grand Indigo is a Context Exclusive and limited to a few pairs worldwide.

They might label it Tight Fit Straight, but the two models you mention are not the same. The 0705-SP is slimmer than the 0701.

This is not the case. While the Grand Indigo (The Context one that is) is modelled after the Vintage 0701. The Grand Indigo from Blue Owl is from another batch, namely the Europe Label. Hence the Japan Blue printed waistband and the arc on the right backpocket (which is assumely not present or almost invisible, due to stitching colour).

I do not know if the denim is on par with the "real" *** lines Momo carries, but I doubt it wouldn't.

The only line Momotaro releases that's not European destined and carries arcs on the right backpocket is the Copper Label series. All other (Vintage, GTB and Gold) don't have arcs.
