Not sure what taking a powder means in this situation, even after I looked up the meaning. I was just jumping to the defense of the OP who seemed to be targeted for nothing. We have clearly interpreted his message differently. I am not challenging your judgment, I've actually bought some clothing from Ethan before, and I found him to be a helpful, friendly bloke.

I can't find anything from the usuals that fit me properly. I've got narrow shoulders, slim frame but quite long arms which means that any standard slim-fitting shirt I get is too short down the arms.

The P Johnson shirts are a good product, at a reasonable price. I am very happy with the quality of the stitching. The fit on my first shirt was good also.

To clear it up, I am making the move to Hong Kong because the chance for international exposure is too great, the guys at The Armoury are good friends I want to work with, and my wife and I figure this is the time to make the move - if we leave it any later, kids may come along and the opportunity mightn't still be around.
I made this decision with some sadness, and PJ and I are still working closely together. I'd love to see his product make it to Hong Kong some day, and I'll keep wearing it as much as I can.

While the current spate of autumn is proving to be very enjoyable I am of the opinion that this is going to be a somewhat miserable winter and was thinking of picking up a Drakes scarf in particular this one http://www.drakes-london.com/catalog...f/category/90/ the main page is http://www.drakes-london.com/sale/scarves It would go well with a grey mac I already own and a blue overcoat I have my eye on, any opinions about quality or do you think i could get a better deal elsewhere?

For a handmade shirt where you can specify the fabric, collar type, placket etc. I think this is fairly reasonable. Even if you only get a few tailor made shirts I think it is a good investment.

I think there was an article in the Age a couple of years back that summed up the pros of having a few tailor made shirts. I'll try and find the link.

I think the quality would be very good, based on the Drakes stuff that I own. Colour choice is always subjective but I think this is a humdinger.

Nice. Worth considering.

On another note, just received Car Rego quite a hike in the third party insurance from last year.ACT sucks no choice but to with with NRMA.

Anyone else notice a premium spike with their insurance as the industry attempts to recoup/offset their losses incurred these past few months with the spate of natural disasters?

Can hardly wait for home and contents.
