lots of manbags too

Yep, picked up a few pieces over the last month there. Real solid section of RRL (seems like they expanded) - they even have an RRL "specialist" there. I'm digging the cream colored slim boot cut jeans there. Awesome, but I'll have to wait until they make their way onto B&S/ebay (msrp - $360).

+1 this is especially true with new jeans that havent been soaked/washed. I was bothered at first but I appreciate the look now. Just adds character and story to the bag

May be a dumb question, but does RRL just do casual or do they make stuff that would work in a semi-formal office? I ask because I found a linen blazer on ebay that looks ripe for stealing due to a lousy picture. But also due to a lousy pucture I can't tell if it's the kind of thing that would be acceptable at my office this summer or if it's going to look too casual.

Yeah, the Fillmore store has the best stock, and if they don't have it, they'll take out the catalogue and show you what can be ordered for that season.

But, for those of us who were already at Fillmore...what about Bay area outlets that might have RRL? Is there anything at all?

it's not a waste of time necessarily. not everyone has a job. i'm in school so i can spend time going to the outlet once a week, even if 9 times out of 10 there is nothing. i think some other people are like me and it's worth it. if i had a job, though, i probably wouldn't bother.

i think you're exaggerating quite a lot but buying RRL is definitely an investment in quality. the garment will probably outlast the style.

Really skinny through the thighs. They don't seem to be stretching much either but I've only been wearing for 30 minutes.
I got the same size as in low straights (raw) and slim bootcuts (white denim, corduroy) which fit fine.
The tartans are pretty normal through the waist.
