Thanks. The JL Norway are one of my two pairs of rain shoes. Pebblegrain, sturdy and rubber-soled. They work well for that.

Yeah, I'd be biting my fingernails if I were you! Those EG shell gunboats are pretty incredible. Don't hold your breath, though... international shipping can be a bear.

Alfred Sargent for Thin Red Line. There was some crazy sale on them 2 years ago and the forum bought all of them, I think. Way before I knew anything about shoes. They feel like slippers now.

^ You don't seem to wear them much? I've ruined mine (walking on salty snow) several months ago. They're now rain/snow day shoes.
