Perhaps. But I can guarantee you that if you tried that on a couple of the NJT trains you'd be thrown out the window.

Stand and pee or walk and pee? While I don't approve the later is quite impressive.

City needs some Stone and Keller.

This thread seems a promising place to ask what I should do for fun this Sunday while I'm roaming the streets of SF by my lonesome. I'll be staying at the Hotel Palomar (Union Square?)

the palomar is nice! i used to work in the kimpton group (palomar/triton/ect) before medschool. before my wife and i were married she'd fly over from NYC and we'd stay there and **** our brains out. when your day of doing cool san fran things is done.... see if something is interesting playing at the IMAX at the metrion (supposedly the biggest screen in north america). I remember watching crouching tiger hidden dragon on that thing and getting motion sickness. on vacation in 2009 i watched that U2 3D concert experience (for the 2nd time after seeing it here in NYC) and it was awesome.

If you're staying at the Palomar, check out the bar/lounge of the 5th Floor restaurant inside the hotel. Through the end of March, they've got a special going where you get a gourmet burger, a buffalo trace bourbon, and a Lagunitas IPA for $25. All things considered, it's not a bad deal, and the burger was pretty decent.

Very true. But, there was a fire back in the mid-80's or so in the tunnel. A number of people died from smoke inhalation due to burning plastic. The seat fabric and other materials on BART won't release fatal fumes.

So, you might get grossed out, maybe sick, but you probably won't die.....
