+1. I think I know why (maybe the Dior thread?) but, to be honest, I thought the tongue-in-cheek was so blatant that it was hard to read his comments as "real" or "literal." Note, this is quite different than those members who make the jokes about **** and such. There is a difference between using humor to reveal, secretly, your own inner nastiness... and using an obviously over-the-top reference to be sarcastic or point out how someone else is being disingenuous. Fuuma probably should have known better and maybe went too far... but I think people know I'm generally pretty sensitive to asshattery (linguistic and otherwise), and I just didn't get that vibe from Fuuma's posts. Perhaps I missed the one's in question that lead to the actual time-out, but I mean just in general. I also think sometimes he says things in English that make more sense, or for which the nuance/humor/snark comes out clearly, in his native French. Sometimes when I don't understand what he says in English, I'll try to imagine what he means in French, and sometimes it is much clearer that way. Again, these aren't necessarily excuses, but just to help a little in separating sheep from goats. Fuuma ain't no goat (IMHO) Edit; since he's canadian, maybe he needs to start posting everything in both English and in French.

I got a PM from him, too. My take-away from J's message was that Spalla would have been just fine if he'd stayed in the General fora land. The Fuuma thing, I don't know the causes, but whenever he's around the conversation improves.
