I'm 37 and still act like I'm 15 at times. I moved out when I was 18, have been paying my own way ever since, but I still read comics, play video games, cook delicious food, eat junk food, ride motorcycles, ride the bus, swim in oceans, fart in the tub, skip down the street, jump on ledges, write girls silly poetry, chase tail, get wasted, stay sober, make chocolates, play in the grass, read a lot of books, watch a lot of music, listen to a lot of music, do my own laundry, draw inappropriate pictures... I don't know what your definition of mature is, but I'm pretty happy with my life.

My son is preparing to sing in a talent show. He has very little talent to speak of, regarding singing, but that's not stopping him from practicing and taking it like SRS BZNESS. He's singing "Fireflies" that was so popular last year. I fvcking h8 the song so after the fourth or fifth time to hear it in the truck, I started inventing my own lyrics.

Do you think my butt would light up like theirs?
My son was NOT amused.

Maturity means different things to different people. I started planning ahead and thinking about the future when I was about 12, but I'll reach maturity when I'm dead and not before (and you can't make me!!).

I am mature in my Professional life. I have been since before I graduated high school and worked a part time job. I have always taken my career very seriously.

When I realised that getting rich, powerful and successful takes nothing more than hard work.
My time is filled with work, extra education and networking. I'd much rather be preparing for an interview than drinking.
Unfortunately it has resulted in a rather poor social life, so I'm gonna have to factor that in somewhere, but for now I'd rather be making myself a better person. **** at 22 I'm already dull as ****!

After a pretty traumatic event at 19 brought upon by my own immaturity, I've been on an uphill climb since 20. It's been gradual and started by investing hard work and dedication with my schooling. Bit by bit, I started planning my education and career, found a woman who would help me with these plans, and tried my damnedest to remain immature as possible in my personal interests and relationships. I think it's really important to plan for one's future and think through your actions, but it's just as vital to keep certain interests that you're supposed to leave behind in childhood.

difficult question - I'd say I was halfway there at 15, 16 or so - due to my family breaking up, I was living alone, supporting myself and going to school. I was acting pretty mature, on the other hand, when I look back (at the ripe old age of 44) at some of the things that I did in my early twenties, I see that I still had a lot to grow, and that maybe 29 was when I fully matured.
