Not really wearing (snowstorm plus leather sole is a recipe for disaster) but since these are longer than my other leather shoes/boots, checking to make sure they're proportional on me.

I'm not really sure what you're trying to say but I'm going to project a little bit and say that's a pretty narrow-minded view on hair. Longer in the middle and back as opposed to all the same length isn't a faux hawk. It's a versatile base for a hair style that suits almost everyone.
