The vent on my pea coat is not slanted but it flares out and looks similar. I think it's normal.

From the rear view the torso looks like a good fit, but the sleeves are definitely too short. They need to be 1" to 2" longer. If there is enough material in the sleeves to lengthen that much, I really wouldn't worry about the vent being a little off center. It is more pronounced while being worn because the coat is closely fitted. If you can lengthen the sleeves, I think the other concerns really don't amount to much--except the buttons, which are easily remedied. But you are the one who wears the coat; please yourself.

I got this coat as suggested by another forum member. It is made by Fidelity. It is very slim fit and is warm without too much bulk. Not bad for the $100.00 I paid.

I am ordering a Sterling Wear authentic soon, but still a bit confused about what size I should get.

Stats:
Height- 5'7"
chest size- 36
waist- 32 or 34 (depending on manufacturer)
athletic/muscular build

I'm looking for a slim fit.

Any suggestions would be helpful...

I know it's a bridgecoat, but how do I get a shorter cropped version?
