The vent on my pea coat is not slanted but it flares out and looks similar. I think it's normal.

From the rear view the torso looks like a good fit, but the sleeves are definitely too short. They need to be 1" to 2" longer. If there is enough material in the sleeves to lengthen that much, I really wouldn't worry about the vent being a little off center. It is more pronounced while being worn because the coat is closely fitted. If you can lengthen the sleeves, I think the other concerns really don't amount to much--except the buttons, which are easily remedied. But you are the one who wears the coat; please yourself.

good god I just had to post, this is sooooo creepy.
[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] I got this coat as suggested by another forum member. It is made by Fidelity. It is very slim fit and is warm without too much bulk. Not bad for the $100.00 I paid.

I am ordering a Sterling Wear authentic soon, but still a bit confused about what size I should get.

    Stats:
    Height- 5'7"
    chest size- 36
waist- 32 or 34 (depending on manufacturer)
    athletic/muscular build

I'm looking for a slim fit.

    Any suggestions would be helpful...

34S as it seems the consensus for Sterlingwear is size down 2.

Sizing down doesn't include sleeve length. Base that on the actual measurement...
